MyEmailCenter (“we”, “our”, or “us”) provides tools that let users connect and manage their email accounts through a unified dashboard. We respect your privacy and protect your personal information in accordance with Google’s API Services User Data Policy and applicable privacy laws.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information when you use MyEmailCenter:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and user ID when you sign up or log in.
• Connected email data: When you connect Gmail or other email accounts, we access metadata (sender, recipient, subject, timestamps) and message bodies only as necessary to display, search, organize, or send emails on your behalf.
• OAuth tokens: Secure credentials issued by Google or other providers to authorize access. We store these tokens in encrypted form.
• Usage data: Logs and technical data used for debugging, security, and service improvement (for example, error messages or approximate timestamps of actions).

3. Use of Google APIs and Gmail Data

When you connect a Gmail account, MyEmailCenter uses Google’s OAuth 2.0 authorization system and the Gmail API. Access is limited to the scopes you approve during the consent process. We use Gmail data solely to provide MyEmailCenter features, such as:

• Displaying your messages and folders (labels) in the app.
• Sending mail on your behalf when you compose or reply.
• Moving, labeling, or deleting messages when you request it.
• Managing labels (“folders”) if you choose to create or remove them.

MyEmailCenter’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy , including the Limited Use requirements.

4. How We Use Information

We use your information solely to:

• Synchronize and display your email accounts inside MyEmailCenter.
• Send, move, or delete messages at your request.
• Maintain and improve the reliability, performance, and security of the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or email contents with third parties. Access to your OAuth data and stored information is limited to authorized service processes and personnel who require it to operate, maintain, or improve MyEmailCenter, and who are bound by confidentiality obligations.

6. Data Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:

• Using HTTPS/TLS for all communication with our servers.
• Encrypting OAuth tokens and other sensitive data at rest.
• Restricting access to production systems to authorized personnel only.
• Monitoring systems for suspicious or unauthorized activity.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

• OAuth tokens and cached data are retained only while your MyEmailCenter account is active and necessary to provide the service.
• You may disconnect your Gmail or other email accounts at any time via settings in the app, which revokes our access.
• You may request deletion of your MyEmailCenter account and all associated data by contacting us at privacy@myemailcenter.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain limited records.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Request deletion of your data, subject to applicable law.
• Withdraw consent by disconnecting linked accounts at any time.

9. Children’s Privacy

MyEmailCenter is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete that information.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Effective date” at the top of this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes indicates your acceptance of the updated policy.
